Monday Prayer to Start the Week

You won’t begin this new week alone but with God. Let us remember that He is our rock and our refuge. Psalm 55:22 says “Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.” Therefore, we will cast our worries on Him, and He will sustain us. We do not have to bear these burdens alone. God will never let us be shaken.

Monday Prayer to Start the Week

Before we pray this prayer, pick up an item that has to do with anything you wish to do this week. Is it work? Your business? Just anything. If not possible, start visualizing your work or anything you will be doing this week. Also, write down your goals for the week on a piece of paper. Don’t type it on your phone because we will need it in this powerful prayer.

Let’s pray…

Prayer to dismiss past week’s disappointments

Our Father,

Help me to immediately throw out my past disappointment of the past week. Do not allow those past disappointments to cloud my vision or deny me the sight of the great things that lie in this new week. I throw away any record of past failures or unrealized goals so that I can look forward to a better week ahead.

It is written in Isaiah 43:18-19, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do not perceive it?”

My goal this week as I rise from my lovely bed should be to get going, to learn from my mistakes of the previous week and once again shoot my shot at greatness. Help me to move forward, dear Lord, and to never forget that You are always with me. In Jesus’ name, I pray.

Amen.

A cry to Heaven to unlock my goals for this new week

Dear God,

Often, what I think I know I might later realize I do not until I pick up that pen. This is the mystery of human forgetfulness. It’s easy to assume I know, but it’s harder to pay for the consequences of not knowing. I hereby list out my goals for this week and commit myself to achieving them.

(Now, READ out all your goals that you wrote down on paper!)

Father, as I Tick these goals, may I never lose sight of them. While I may attend to other impromptu tasks, let me be able to give more of my time to meeting the weekly deadline of these goals.

Habakkuk 2:2-3 says:

Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.

Unlock my goals, Dear Lord, and give me the courage to pursue them. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Bless my body and soul with the spirit of Consistency ahead of the week

Oh, King of Kings,

I want you to Bless my body and soul with your divine spirit of consistency ahead of this week. May whatever trap the evil ones have left to stop me, be it at work or my business, turn against them.

I know how easy it can be for me to lose focus since there are lots of distractions, including social media, phone calls, parties, etc. Nevertheless, I must learn to pay the price by losing to gain. Give me focus so that this week will be blessed for me. I just don’t want anything to get me distracted while at work or at my business. Help me to follow through on my planned week. Help me each day to do the little I can until it becomes big and whole.

Lord, see the ants you created, as little as they are compared to several of their types, with consistent efforts, they get to store up their meals. Proverbs 6:6-8 says, “Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest.” Please, Give me this discipline to stay consistent and achieve my goals for the week as it starts. May my prayer be heard. In Jesus’ name.

Amen.

Oh, Heavens, Bring me Help because I don’t know it All

Dear God,

Please, bring me help because, without your wisdom, I wouldn’t know it all. Do not let me be deceived by those who say I can achieve whatever I set my heart to achieve without any assistance. Man is designed to be dependent on each other. Each one of us needs the other, especially at work or in business. Help me to not be timid when my success is at stake.

Dear God, Time is ticking faster and faster. Last week is gone, and Monday is here for me to plan my week.

Look out for some of my set goals and give me a helping hand. Whether it is my friend, family, neighbor, stranger, or colleague that you have commissioned to be my extra hand, May they make my new week one of a kind. As I put a call through to enlist their help, may they be willing to be there for me. Did the Holy Bible not say that “two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up”? (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). Please, Give me the courage to ask for assistance and to know that I am designed to work with others and that together, we can achieve great things.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

May This week be the week I Celebrate my Achievements. Amen!

Heavenly Father,

I know that Motivation is the push of every soul. But often, I might fail to achieve my goals due to a Lack of self-motivation.

Sometimes, I have failed to achieve the goals I set due to failure to plan to celebrate my achievements. Father, help me out. Help me to have and celebrate little wins because it’s better than nothing to celebrate. Help me plan to celebrate achieved weekly goals as I step into the Monday of this week. As it is written in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” I know that You are there to guide my new week, and to help me through any obstacles that may be there to break me down. Please, Father, answer my prayer.

In Jesus’ name. Amen!
