A young man came to us, broken and worried. His business was collapsing. He told us, “I’ve done everything I can. I’ve invested money, time, and effort, but no one is coming to buy from me.” The sadness in his voice was clear, and we could feel the burden he carried. And then said a prayer to attract customers for business.
Now, when you hear such stories in the world, the common advice people give is to “try harder,” “change your business,” or even “give up.” But here in this ministry, we know that there’s more to life than just physical effort. We understand that sometimes, it’s not about what you can see. The spiritual controls the physical.
When we began to pray for this man, it was revealed to us that his business had been under spiritual attack. Dark forces were working behind the scenes to ensure that no customers would come his way. Imagine, no matter how hard he tried, there was an unseen barrier blocking people from coming to his shop.
But we thank God because we know the One who has the power to destroy every form of darkness! We prayed, and we prayed hard. We didn’t stop until we felt a breakthrough.
And just as God promised in His Word, He intervened. In Malachi 3:10, God says, “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”
God opened the floodgates of blessings on this man’s business. Within a short period, customers started pouring in. Hallelujah! Where there was once emptiness, there was now abundance. His business began to thrive, not because of any physical change but because God had removed the spiritual blockage.
Powerful Prayer to Attract Customers
For this prayer, make sure you’re at your business. If you are somewhere else, visualize the business or hold your business card as we pray.
1. Help Me, oh Lord, to Get Referrals
Dear Able God,
Referrals are one of the best ways to get new customers, but without your intervention, my current customers may not refer their friends and family members to me. I could be waiting a long time. I want you to take charge, and help me as I implement a system that will actively solicit referrals from my satisfied customers. Help me Build a referral-generating activity into the sales process. For example, when I send a follow-up email asking for a referral after a customer has received their order, may it turn out positively. Remind my B2B salespeople to ask for referrals when they follow up with customers to answer questions after the sale.
You teach us in Matthew 7:7-8:
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
I ask for your help while I try to implement this system, and may my customers be willing to share their positive experiences with others.
Help my business flourish, and may I always remember to give thanks and praise to you.

Dear Lord,
I pray for your wisdom to build relationships and generate word-of-mouth for my business. Guide me to participate in networking organizations and events relevant to my industry and my customers. Help me unlock the perfect attitude when approaching people I want to network with the attitude. Philippians 2:3-4 says, “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”
May my business receive your blessings, and may I always praise you, the source of all my success. In Jesus’ name.

3. As I Offer Discounts, Let Me Still See Gains
Our Father,
I desire to offer discounts and introductory offers to attract new customers. But at the same time, I want to be able to still gain from it. Help me to create offers that are appealing to customers and low-risk to my business. May my offers lure curious customers in and give them a taste of the value I provide.
As I track which customers redeem these special offers, give me the wisdom to target them with marketing messages that encourage them to continue doing business with my brand. You teach us in Luke 6:38, “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” As I give discounts, let my generosity be met with abundance.

4. A Prayer for Divine Wisdom to Set Up My Business Website
Our Father,
I have a business website. You said in James 1:5, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” I ask for your wisdom to build a website that attracts customers and showcases my products and services. Help me to ensure that the design, content, graphics, and SEO are working. If I need assistance, lead me to good professionals who can help my business.

5. Oh Lord, Find Me a Trustworthy Partner to Complement My Business
Dear God,
I need to search for a trustworthy business partner to complement mine. Did you not teach us in Proverbs 27:17 that “as iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another”? Heavenly Father, this is why I am praying for your guidance to find a business partner who shares my values and has a similar customer base but isn’t directly competitive.
I need your Help to strategize how we can both target each other’s customers to drive new business to each other. I pray for our partnership to be built on trust, integrity, and a shared commitment.

6. A Cry for Help to Retain Old and New Customers
Dear God,
Help me retain old and new customers. Help me to remember that everything old can be new again, including old customers who haven’t done business with me in a while. Give me the discipline to regularly go through my customer contacts and reach out to dormant customers with a special offer via email, direct mail, or phone.
I need you to unlock new ways for me to know how to make my customers feel remembered. May they also be glad that I reached out to win them back.
Help me with outstanding ideas to create offers that are appealing and relevant to the things they need. They shouldn’t find my reach-out annoying but rather respond by continuing to do business with me.
I know that the blessing of the Lord brings wealth, and You add no trouble to it. Therefore, I believe that you will make my business a blessing to others, and remember You as the source of all my success.

7. May Heavens Promote my unique expertise
Our Father,
I need your help to generate interest and new customers by introducing them to my expertise in my industry. Help me to participate in industry panel discussions or online webinars, speak at industry events or to groups my target customers belong to, or hold educational sessions or workshops to impress potential customers. Please, give me your blessing to promote my expertise, and help my business flourish. I worship You as You will grant my request and be the source of my success.

8. Fetch My Business Positive reviews to my advantage
Dear Lord,
My business goal right now is to cultivate and make the most of online reviews from my customers. I know that Social proof is powerful, and new customers are more likely to give my business a try if they see others talking good it. Dear God, please help me satisfy any existing customers so that they will be encouraged to share my excellence with the world.
Proverbs 22:1 says, “A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.” I ask for your help to give my brand a good name both online and in person. Let the reviews that will come into my business make it flourish. As you bless me, Oh Lord, May I always remember to give thanks to You. I pray In Jesus’ name. Amen.
9. May I be Able to Attend Community Events That’ll Attract Buyers
Heavenly Father,
As I try hard to raise my profile in my community and attract new customers, may your Divine grace be with me.
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).
I hereby ask for your blessing as I take part in any events and organizations in my community meant to promote my business. Help me to contribute to my community through ways like sponsoring a local fun run, organizing a holiday or supplying a small league team in my city with equipment. But whatever I can afford to do should bring not just recognition to be business but also glorify your name.
My involvement in these events should bring me into contact with potential customers. Help me build quality relationships with them as well. As I serve my community, may I also be serving you, and may my business make sales as a result of your blessings.
